Yesterday was quite nice. I got to take a half day from work and spend the afternoon with Anthony. We went to the park by his flat and walked around and enjoyed the rare sunny day. I really needed that and it was nice getting to relax and just relax with my good mate.
While we were talking we were tossed around the idea of doing something really fun for the weekend. Something to take our minds away from work and everything else going on and just have some fun. Anthony suggested going to this 70's themed nightclub in Blackpool he had been to before. We also thought that it would be a good idea to get a hotel room for the night.
I wanted all the Ravenclaws to come as a Ravenclaw Getaway Weekend of sorts!
So if you want to go please let either Anthony or I know so we can see how many hotel rooms we should get for everyone.
I am really looking forward to this and Terry, I expect you to come! There is no getting out of it. Sorry!!

I can not believe that I am just now writing in my journal. I mean I did buy this journal a few weeks ago, but never really sat down and put quill to parchment, as it were. The only time I wrote in a journal was right after Cedric died. It helped me get all my feelings out and my therapist was the one to suggest the idea to me. That was was not a magical journal like this one. It will speed up communication since my owl is not the fastest one around. She is a bit old so that does play a part.
But besides that, I have been busy with work. The beginning of spring always leads to a upturn in work, which I am not complaining about. In the past week alone, there has been more than a dozen births I have assisted with, three twins and even two sets of triplets. I can not imagine doing anything else.
